I
refreshed and checked. Still not working.
The
web addresses for the links are there but are no longer highlighted and
clicking on them does not work.

Maybe
it's because the thread has been locked for further commenting so links
aren't showing on non-admin accounts like mine. Not sure, have never been
aware of this.
Will
get our coders to investigate some time, but it's really not a priority to
fix such a minor software bug Seema, people can follow the links manually if
required.

Maybe
GE had your website hacked and the links in my comments disabled. They
obviously don't want people to read the docs & blogs I have linked to.

Some
software fluke or so, not sure why. Worst case if it doesn't on some
computers, people can always copy-paste the link in their browser manually

Kian,
The
links in my comments are not working at all. I checked in 3 computers.
They
were definitely working yesterday.
Since
this is such an important thread, could you please try to rectify this?
BTW
are you on German time?
Thanks,
Seema

Seema,
Now
that is exactly what I was referring to earlier as a textbook example of
paranoia because your suspicion that GE hacked Legally India does not make
any logical sense whatsoever.
There
is not a single snowflake in hell chance that they hacked our server.
And
even if they did, for argument's sake, why would they do something as silly
as removing hyperlinks, when people can see and follow the links anyway with
3 extra clicks? Why did they leave the hyperlinks intact in the copy of the
story?
Why
wouldn't they just hack your blog directly instead, if they're such
sophisticated computer hackers? Why would they not lean heavily on Google to
remove your blogs from Google's indexes?
There
are literally hundreds of reasons for why what you are saying could not make
any reasonable sense whatsoever and is beyond the realm of what a reasonable
person (or judge for that matter) would believe.
These
kinds of suspicions hurt your credibility and case.
I
assume that because I'm trying to convince you that your suspicion is untrue,
you'll next assume that GE bribed or otherwise influenced me to remove the
links? Again, if they had, for argument's sake, we would not even have
allowed your comments in the first place, presumably, or would have deleted
all links to your blog from the article copy.
The
world is a messed up place Seema, I agree, but not everything that goes wrong
in your life can be remotely linked back to GE.
Web
content software is very complicated and I can sadly point out 50 bugs on our
website to do with complex systems such as user account registration,
commenting, etc that unfortunately don't work the way they are intended to.
Usually
a computer bug is just a bug rather than a conspiracy.
In
my humble opinion, you'd serve your own cause better if you focused on what's
important in your case and proving the initial instance of corruption, etc,
rather than wasting your time chasing spectres...
Anyway,
I know what I say will have limited effect and you'll not believe any of what
I say, so I'm not sure why I'm engaging on this.
Take
care,
Kian

Seema,
I'm not sure whether I am making too much of it.
To
me (and others who were in my shoes) your suspicion expressed in the email
(that "Maybe GE had your website hacked and the links in my comments
disabled. They obviously don't want people to read the docs & blogs I
have linked to.") seems indicative of your mindset that seeks conspiracy
against GE where there often is none.
This
casts into doubt your other claims made against GE, particularly things such
as dogs barking or the repeated poisoning allegations where there has never
been any evidence other than your self-diagnosed feeling of being poisoned.
Suffice
it to say, you must realise that you don't always come across as a completely
objective or an impartial observer in such matters, which is why lawyers,
judges, friends, etc disbelieve you and don't take your more serious
allegations seriously (because they're mixed in with the subjective and
paranoid-seeming).
Anyway,
like I said, I'm not sure why I'm still engaging on this, but I wish you all
the best,
Kian

Hi
Seema - don't you have more important things to do than badger me about the
comments, such as preparing for your SC appeal?
Like
I said, trying to find out what's causing the bug is not a priority for our
developers right now, who have more serious bugs to stamp out first.
Your
protest is noted though and we'll try to get it fixed when we are able to.
Thanks
Kian

Kian,
Even
the following link in your story is not working.
Update
18 December 12:54: Sapra has published a response to the high court decision
on her blog that she would appeal to the Supreme Court and that the ruling
and her imprisonment would “enable my being drugged and poisoned in a prison
and my being eventually eliminated”:
http://seemasapra.blogspot.in/2015/12/fwd-general-electric-fcpa-obstruction_18.html
This
link was working until at least the day before.
You
need to at least fix this link where you linked to my response on my blog.
The
link is
http://seemasapra.blogspot.in/2015/12/fwd-general-electric-fcpa-obstruction_18.html
Journalistic
integrity demands that you fix this link which you inserted so as to
incorporate my response to your story.

I
think the link in the story must have been inserted incorrectly from the
get-go, have fixed it.
The
editor's picks tag had also disappeared, have fixed.
That
said, please stop spamming on Twitter and in comments to stories that have
nothing to do with your case. I'll unpublish your comment to the CJI Thakur
story - you having an LI account does not mean you can use it like your blog
and Twitter on random stories...
If
there's any issue, send me an email, I usually read them and take action if
it's possible to do anything.
